5 Vintage Japanese Mashiko square dishes painted with eggplant.  In very good vintage condition. No observation of cracks and chips. Has very light unnoticable scratches.

Kamakura-bori, originating from Kamakura, Japan, is a traditional form of lacquerware dating back to the Kamakura period (1185 -1333). This art involves carving intricate patterns into wood, followed by applying multiple layers of colored lacquer. The final step is polishing the piece to achieve a smooth finish.

Vintage Japanese tea ceremony confectionery square serving plate / bowl stoneware. Carved with Japanese pampas grass also known as susuki on the inside and painted with blue and brown diamond shape fencing on the 4 outer edges. You can feel the indention of the potter's finger on the inside and outside of the 4 edges. Unglazed at the bottom with a stamp of the maker.

3 Vintage Japanese Oribe plates glazed with dark green copper sulfate and decorated with a bunch brown bamboo plant mofits.  Maker's stamp at the bottom.  In very good vintage condition. No observation of cracks, scratches and chips.
